Vehicle Garage Management System

I designed and developed the complete Laravel-based REST API backend for a vehicle garage mobile application, handling backend architecture, business logic, authentication, and database design.

I developed the RESTful API using Laravel and MVC architecture, implementing Laravel Sanctum authentication, token-based login, and role-based access control for three user roles: Garage Admin, Mechanic, and Vehicle Owner. I designed and implemented secure API authorization rules to ensure users could access only the features and data permitted by their roles.

The backend handled the complete vehicle registration process, using vehicle numbers as unique identifiers. I designed the MySQL database to store vehicle details, repair notes, and inspection checklists. I also implemented a seven-stage vehicle repair status workflow, allowing mechanics and garage administrators to manage repair progress throughout the entire lifecycle.

Mechanics could update only their assigned repair stages, while vehicle owners had read-only access to monitor repair progress in real time. Garage administrators could mark repairs as completed and close the repair process. I implemented backend validation, role-based permissions, and access controls to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive vehicle and repair information.

I also optimized database queries to improve API performance for the mobile application. The technology stack included Laravel, Laravel Sanctum, MySQL, REST APIs, MVC architecture, and role-based authorization.

This was a fully backend-focused project, and I independently designed and implemented the API structure, database schema, authentication system, authorization rules, and core business workflows.
